Luca Casini, establishes in 2001 his goldsmith shop called
Cercando L'Oro.
After attending the local art high school, Istituto Statale
d'Arte di Volterra and having an instructive ten year
apparenticeship experience in an artistic goldsmith studio,
discovers his passion for goldsmithing handed down to him by,
Renato Casini,
his father and mentor.
Luca makes his creations using traditional artisan
goldsmithing techniques: plate and wire, perforation and the
lost wax casting process allow him to impress a personal
identity in his pieces, whose making resembles ancient
etruscan forms.
The warmth of yellow gold, enriched by precious and
semi -precious stones, is sometimes coupled to unusual
materials or silver as result of further experimenting and
research. |
